Just as in this blessed month was the Battle of Badr, which Islam triumphed with and the glory of its beacon, in it was also the conquest of Mecca, the faithful country in the eighth year of the Hijra, so God saved it with this great conquest from unrighteous polytheism, and it became a safe, Islamic country in which monotheism disregarded polytheism and faith from disbelief and Islam About arrogance
The reason for this great conquest is that when reconciliation was completed between the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and Quraysh in Al-Hudaybiyyah in the sixth year, the one who loved to enter the era of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him did, and whoever entered the era of Quraish did so, so Khuza'a entered the era of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And upon him be peace, and Banu Bakr entered during the era of Quraysh, and there was blood between the two tribes in the Jahiliyyah, so Banu Bakr seized this truce and raided Khuza'a while they were safe. He greeted him and they told him of what she did to Nubakr and the Quraish’s help for her.
As for the Quraysh, it fell into their hands, and they saw that by doing this they broke their covenant, so they sent their leader, Abu Sufyan, to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to tighten the contract and increase the duration. He spoke to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, about that, but he did not reply to him. And peace be upon him, but he did not succeed. Then he spoke to Ali bin Abi Talib, but he did not succeed either. He said to him: What do you see, O Abu Al-Hassan? He said: I do not see anything singing about you, but Sayed Bani Kenana, then get up and reward the people. He said: Do you see that singing something about me? He said: No, by God! But I can't find anything else for you, so Abu Sufyan did, then returned to Makkah, and Quraish said to him: What is behind you? He said: I came to Muhammad and I spoke to him. By God, he did not answer me anything, then Ibn Abi Qahhafa and Ibn al-Khattab did not find anything good. Then I stayed overnight, so he referred to me about something that I made that wages among the people. He said: No, they said: Woe! What increased a man - they mean to me: to play with you)).
As for the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he ordered his companions to prepare for the fight and told them what he wanted, and settled around him from the tribes and said ((God take the news and eyes from the Quraysh until they were able to find them in their country)) and then he left Medina with about ten thousand fighters, and when he reached a place called Murrat Dhahran close to Makkah commanded the army, and they lit ten thousand fires, and set the guard on Umar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and rode al-Abbas with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to seek someone who reaches the Quraysh to go out to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and they seek safety from him, and the fighting will not take place in Makkah
Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered al-Abbas to stop Abu Sufyan in the gorge of the valley at the mouth of the mountain so that the Muslims would pass by him, and the tribes would pass by him on their flags. Until a battalion came, like it did not see, so he said, Who is this? Al-Abbas said, “These supporters are upon them, Saad bin Ubadah, with the banner. When Sa’ad joined him, he said: Abu Sufyan! Today is the day of the epic, today the Kaaba is permissible, then a battalion came - which is the least and most prestigious of the kataeb - among them the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions Sa’d, so the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Saad lies! But this is a day in which God glorifies the Kaaba and the Ka’ba is covered.” Then The Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded that the flag be taken from Saad and paid to his son Qais, and he saw that it did not completely depart from Saad, as it came to his son. And so majestic that his forehead is almost touching his journey while he reads, “We have opened for you a clear opening (1)” and returns it and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent to one of the women who did not enter the mosque, Khalid bin Al-Walid and on the other, Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awam, and said ((Whoever enters the mosque is safe, and whoever enters the house Abu Sufyan is safe, and whoever enters his house and closes his door, he is safe. ”Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went until he came to the Sacred Mosque and went around the house with sixty and three hundred idols, so he made the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stabbed them with a bow with him and said,“ And he has come. ” Truth and falsehood lost For falsehood was boldness ( 81) “Then he entered the Ka’ba and found images in it, and he commanded it, then it was erased, then he prayed there.
